Statement Of Purpose
We build strong kids, strong families, strong communities. The Ashland YMCA promotes the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Responsibility and Respect in every program that we do.
Our Mission Statement
The purpose of this association shall be to help persons develop Christian personalities and to aid them in building a society based on Christian ideals through the improvement of the physical, mental,social, moral and rreligious condition of persons and communities served by the association.
Our Positioning Statement
The YMCA movement is something different and special. We are particularly relevant to today’s society because we fill a void in the community. We put Christian principles into practice. We welcome and support children and families and help the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. We are for everyone – people of all ages, races, religion, incomes and abilities. The YMCA builds community.
Volunteers Needed
VOLUNTEERS are vital to YMCA programs. The YMCA is able to extend its widde variety of services and programs because of its volunteers. Please ask any staff member if you have an interest in helping us.
Building Rentals
The YMCA would like to offer the building for rentals on Friday and Saturday nights. Please call for more information, 289-0626. Calls must be made one month in advance, times and dates are limited.
Partner With Youth
The Ashland Family YMCA has offered free membership to youth of our community for over 50 years. This program is funded by the gifts to the Partner With Youth campaign and also funded by the Ashland Couny United Way.

The Ashland YMCA has been included in the planned giving of many YMCA supporters. We ask you to think about the YMCA as you plan your giving program. The YMCA’s future is it’s endowment program and your planned giving support will benefit the youth of our community for years to come.
