As a supporter of the YMCA of Ashland, Ohio, you are a part of a diverse organization of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to strengthen our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
We serve individuals in diverse communities throughout Ashland. Scholarships, subsidies and outreach provided middle to low-income families access to critical YMCA programs and services in 2023. Many volunteers joined our cause of strengthening the community by contributing their time and efforts to our Y mission.

Established in 1905, the Ashland area YMCA was built by the people of Ashland to be an organization that served the community for generations to come. For over 100 years, the Y has lived into our commitment to make a difference in the lives of every person who walks through our doors.

Our Policy
The Ashland Family YMCA is always looking for ways to give back to our community. Years ago the YMCA made a promise to Ashland that no child will be turned away from the YMCA because of the inability to pay. The YMCA has helped many families with financial needs obtain a membership at a fraction of the cost or even free through your support through our various products and services. Proceeds are given to help the underserved with member or program scholarships. You are able to see how The Ashland YMCA not only helps out but is in need of your support which you can see through our annual report which discloses funding coming in and how it is spent.
